Following the thorough cleaning of markets and hawker centres 2 days ago, the Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council team continued with another 6-hour operation of barricading 2000 tables & chairs at the 7 hawker centers in Toa Payoh and Shunfu. All ready for the month-long heightened alert commencing past midnight on 22 July, dine-in at hawker centers will be prohibited from tomorrow as F&B stalls will only allowed to offer "tapao" takeaway and delivery services. To safeguard the community's safety, TraceTogether-only SafeEntry requirements will be enforced at all wet markets and hawker centres, requiring the cooperation of everyone entering these premises to check in using TraceTogether app or token. Limited entry points, safe-distancing floor markings and signages are additional SMM controls to ensure well-being of residents. Please continue to stay strong and work with us in stemming out of the transmission of virus as One Community.
