Welcome to Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council

Bishan-Toa Payoh is a charming town with its own unique history and heritage. Formed in January 1997 with the merger of two previous GRCs (Group Representation Constituencies) into one, we were since known as Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC.

The Bishan-Toa Payoh Town Council has constantly strived to improve public facilities, create community spaces for active living and refresh the HDB neighbourhood for residents. From July 2020, we manage and improve HDB residential estates in Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC, and Marymount SMC. The GRC comprises of four constituencies, which include Bishan East-Sin Ming, Toa Payoh Central, Toa Payoh East and Toa Payoh West-Thomson. Geographically, the town spreads over three main estates; Toa Payoh, Bishan and Thomson.

With more than 53,000 households, its central location with many good schools, amenities and convenience makes it an attractive residential estate for Singaporeans. In maintaining the estate’s environment and vibrancy, the Town Council constantly rejuvenates the HDB estates and facilities over the past years with our renewal and upgrading programmes.

The logo depicts both the distinctive architecture of Bishan's Housing Development Board(HDB) flats and the Viewing Tower of Toa Payoh Garden.

The blue (Pantone 285C) and green (Pantone 376C) colors represent a fresh, clean and healthy environment within community.
